Genuine deli style meal. Fair prices for genuine food. Fast service, easy seating. Great place for lunch.
Great soup and sandwiches. Prices are good. Staff is the best. If you haven't been here, you are missing out on a yummy lunch.
I had a Central Park sandwich, it was delicious. Cute location, friendly service.
Good sandwich shop with excellent variety.
Good food and friendly staff.
Great place to go for a quick soup and sandwich. Whenever I visit my boyfriend at work we usually go here to eat together for lunch. I haven't been disappointed by a soup or sandwich yet!
The soups are wonderful and sandwiches are excellent.
Food was ok.
We got there 30 minutes to close and I guess the lunch rush was over, it was completely deserted, but they were still friendly. The sandwiches were great, good combinations of flavors. Cool building and atmosphere.
This is a downtown gem, from the old style hand lettered menu boards to the quaint, private seating areas, and welcoming smiles at the order counter. What a welcome reprieve from chain restaurants! Sandwiches are always fresh. Soups are terrific. But my personal favorite has long been the Oriental Chicken Salad.
Nothing special. Food was ok. Marble rye bread was good but Subway has a better selection and bigger servings next door
Nice soup, great sandwich (lots of variety), friendly staff. Nice, peculiar place hidden behind a somewhat sleazy door. Interior actually rather classic and nice.
Awesome breakfast sammich
Was excited to try the place, but disappointed with the results. I went into it expecting something similar to gandolfos, with a huge menu and classics from Manhattan, particularly a great pastrami sandwich. It felt more like a mom and pop sandwich shop with soup. Sandwich was alright, but nothing special, menu size doesn't even begin to compare with gandolfos. I didn't try any soup, but regretted not giving it a chance, since I will probably not return.
Fine sandwiches and fantastic service.
My favorite is the Ruban!
Food has been great here. Ambience is definitely on the old side, maybe vacuum or sweep more often. But, i will still go there with good food and helpful kind staff.
They make my BLT exactly how I like it... very friendly...price could be lower lol but that's a small quibble...never had bad service here...
One sandwich was good, the other came out wet for some reason
The people there are nice and the owner is pretty cool
Great place for quick salads or sandwiches.
Just try this place its great
Good business lunch. Quiet, clean fast and good food. I had a Reuben - friend had a half sand and salad. Both of us were very pleased. About $7.00 each.
Stinky and sticky
Best potatoe bacon soup in the midwest!!!! Miss the staff dearly ... fresh ingredients and fair prices! Looooovvve this place!
The central park Sandwich is a favorite
Cashier tries to short your change 1 dollar. Stood their for 15 minutes in line watching him do it. Even went so far as to rip the bottom of the receipts off. He didnt fool me.
This place is a diamond in the rough. The staff is friendly and the food is both plentiful and good. If you go during lunch, get there early it's crowded. But they get you through fairly easily.
Great place. Great food, nice environment
Great Food and better service. We will be back the next time we visit Omaha.
2 stars means I hate spending money when I could have done better. It's not often I choose to go downtown to eat. I felt like a deli and I wanted atmosphere. Boy did the stars on this page lie.The bread...soft. Good compliment done. The rest of the sandwich was bland, boring and regrettably paid for. It's walk up to the cashier and order...help yourself to chips and drink so yeah, I could have got this and flavor from other delis. Paper plates always make me feel unwelcome. Even those little plastic baskets with paper thrown in is better than styro. The atmosphere is compact and compartmentalized. Though I liked the ability to hear myself think let alone conversations with friends it was overwhelmed by the feeling of eating in someones bank office circa 1940s.Long winded...oh well. I'm still looking for that Golden Panini and the chains aren't doing it for me. I miss NYC and I'll pay double for a sandwich like that. Did I mention it came with pickle....
Initially had a bad review. Went again and had a great experence. 5 stars
The menu was reasonably priced, and the food was really good. The environment was pretty historic feeling. There was a good view. The facility is quite large. It is worth stopping in for a good lunch.
Had a pastrami melt it was a very solid sandwich would definitely try it again.
Amazing food, great prices, and super friendly staff! Had lunch today with my mother and it reminded her so much of home up in New York. 10/10 will definitely come back tomorrow haha! The French dip is amazing!
Closed at 3 wth heard good stuff about this place.next time im in town will try it out..
Good place for lunch, food is usually very well prepared. Customer service could be better.
Good food had a French dip and the meat was good quality and good flavor. Bun was toasted and overall was happy with my order. Fairly busy over the lunch hour.. calling ahead would be a decent idea (but not a must) if you're in a hurry. Price was decent for a non chain restaurant.. figure on around an 8-10 dollar lunch. Nice casual atmosphere.
Excellent sandwich, I asked for it to be toasted with no problems. I ordered the Stork off the sandwich menu but you can make your own. Also daily soups and a salad menu. Reasonably priced.
Sloppy food presentation....
Ive been coming to Manhattan's for 30 years and enjoyed the updates the new owner made. EXCEPT please:1. Use brighter lights over the menu board. Its really hard for us of a certain age to read.2. Bring back the Clan Chowder!! I was craving some of Bill's old recipe and didn't see it on the menu.Otherwise - superb!
Love the sandwiches and the price is reasonable!
I really like the Reuben here!
Little pricey for the ammount of food you get
Great food & plenty of sandwiches to choose from. Everyone can find a good selections here.
Great little place for a quick sandwich. Unique decor of an historic building. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
Manhattan Deli has a lot of really good food, the building is older and really fun to look at, and the speed of service is also really good. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that, until recently, I've never really felt welcome there. I always kinda felt like I was burdening them whenever I ordered but the food outweighed that feeling. But recently there is a new girl taking orders and has made me actually feel welcomed. If that continues this will be a 5 star place in my book!
Manhattan Deli offers great soups and sandwiches in the downtown area. This is a very overlooked place to eat. I've never once been disappointed, nor have I ever noticed a large crowd that you might find at other eateries in downtown. There is plenty of seating and it is easy to get to. Definitely worth checking out for a quick, cheap bite to eat for lunch.
Amazing food. Great prices. Super fast lines during lunch. 😃
Very good sandwiches! Soup was just OK. Really nice selection with endless combinations! Reasonably priced.
